We work with you hand-in-hand, leading the path through design, scope, budget, timeline and permits -- and then, of course, construction and completion -- so that you can start building treasured memories in your new home.
Regular weekly meetings -- from project start to finish -- support continuous communication and keep you up to date with progress and budget and ensure that you find every phase of design, permitting and construction to be a first-class, professional experience.

Custom homes
We are a small boutique builder driven by a passion for building high-quality luxury homes that exceed our clients’ dreams.
Metrik is your one-stop custom build shop. From the beginning of the design process -- scope, budget and timeline -- and on to construction drawings and development approvals, Metrik coordinates and contracts suppliers, engineers and interior design professionals as well as tradespeople and artisans during the construction phase.
In addition to elevating beautiful craftsmanship, our homes are built with health and sustainability in mind. Your home's building envelope, materials, methods, air quality, ventilation, waste management, water conservation and appliances will all exceed EnerGuide standards.
Renovations
We specialize in converting Calgary's iconic bungalows.
Calgary's bungalows from the 1950s and 1960s have great bones. Metrik bungalows boast gorgeous, bright, open-plan designs, while also accommodating retreat to lovely and well-appointed private spaces. They are perfect for tranquil inner-city, one-floor living, with ample and inviting space downstairs for entertainment, guests, a home office, or space for the kids to come home to. These renovations offer plenty of flexibility for additions and spacious new garages.
Renovating an existing house can save 80 per cent of the energy-dense materials such as concrete and wood that go into a new build. All elements in our homes, including insulation, HVAC, appliances, windows and doors exceed EnerGuide expectations.
Calgary's bungalows are consistently in high demand for resale, making renovation an excellent option to provide both a beautiful home for today and a solid investment for tomorrow.

Workplace safety is at the core of our operations. We are committed to the safety of our employees, sub-contractors, clients and the general public and our investment in training reflects that dedication. Metrik is WCB-insured and certified by the Alberta Construction Safety Association (SECOR). As a proud member of BILD Calgary and the Canadian Home Builders' Association, we stay up-to-date on best practices. Our experienced team is trained in key safety measures, including:
